What the Heck is a Pie Potluck?
We've all attended that potluck...you know, the one where everybody brings past salad and there are no main courses or desserts. Or the one where everybody brings a dessert and you have to swing past McDonalds on the way home.
The upcoming Peninsula Fall Party includes a potluck, but fear not! It is purposely one sided. We call it a Pie Potluck, and Peninsula residents are encouraged to bring just sweets to share with your neighbors. Pies, or course, are the stars, but if you're not a pie person but make the world's best chocolate chip cookies or fudge brownies, feel free to bring those. Dessert is the name of the game for the potluck.
The event will also include wine and beer tasting. If you are so inclined, please bring a bottle of wine or some beers to share with your neighbors.
The Peninsula Fall Party will be Saturday, October 8, 4:00-6:00, in Emma Harvat Square Park.
The Fall Party is planned by the neighborhood Events Committee. If you'd like to serve on this committee, contact Peninsula resident, Keith Reins at email@example.com
